Attitude of Gratitude

In the little church I grew up attending, we sang this old hymn, “Count Your Blessings” that suggested we all had much to be thankful for receiving from God.  And I usually didn’t finish singing the song with the rest of the congregation because I was easily distracted and would start thinking about what I could count as a blessing (mostly because I was easily distracted).   Oddly enough though, should I be asked at Thanksgiving with all this aromatic deliciousness in front of me, I couldn’t think of anything that didn’t sound lame.

Thus in the spirit of the season, let’s start now thinking of what things we are thankful for having. Then as the big T day gets closer, we can be ready with our best gratitude.

2-4-6-8 … What do we appreciate??
