This is probably the last time we will enjoy the wilderness mecca we call Washburn. It has a new owner so we will have to tread lightly. There is a work project involved as a thank you for letting us use the place again. We will discuss Tuesday night more of the details of this last Washburn Expedition. We will be going leaving Friday, October 9 and camp overnight in a secluded location away from civilization, cell service, and flush toilets. We will stay out most of Saturday before returning (I work Sunday mornings, sorry).
Talk to Brad if you want to participate in this opportunity to be convinced that ash is a tasty condiment to any food cooked over an open fire. And expect it to be colder than you think. And hotter too.
And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke; the sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the day of the LORD comes, the great and magnificent day. And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the LORD shall be saved. (Acts 2:19-21 quoting Joel 2:30-32)
