Join the Conversation Club Program
by the International Students and Scholars Office!
Conversation Club is designed for international students to improve their conversational English. It gives them the opportunity to meet in small groups, meet new people, practice their English and make friends. The program also offers the American students the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, make friends, and improve their leadership skills while learning about cross-cultural communication. The groups consist of 3-5 international students led by 2 American students or community members who meet for an hour every week, for 8 weeks during the semester. Here are some more information about the program in our Conversation Club Page. Conversation Club is a registered program with the Volunteer Action Center (volunteer.uark.edu), so leaders will be able to use conversation club hours as volunteering hours.
